Martha, Martha, Martha!

I must say, I'm loving the new Martha show. I still have another 5 on my TiVo that I'm catching up on, but it's very informative and fun. Honestly, she just cracks me up! She's just so particular and likes things "just so", that when she's trying to teach a guest something, she contantly busts on them. But in the most polite way possible, of course. That's the other funny thing. She is just so polite and never wants to hurt anyone's feelings, but in a backwards way, she always let's them know how it is. The best part of the show is getting to learn to do all kinds of cool things. From the perfect chocolate cake, how to fold a t-shirt and how to make very cool holiday crafts...Martha knows it all! And as usual, she makes it look SO easy. I already have some favorite recipes though. I'll definitely be trying them out soon

Seeing the Light...

Gilmore Girls

Rory is finally seeing the light! I hope. Her deadbeat ex, Jess, came back into town and yelled at her for quitting Yale and not "being herself" and then her boyfriend yelled at her for the same thing. Although he has been supportive the entire time through her "phase", I think Rory might be driving him to drink. Logan has always been a party kid, but now he's just an angry drunk. It's defintely not all Rory's fault, it's his. He can't man up to his Dad and tell him "No! I won't work for you!". Logan is cute, but he needs to grow some balls. That's what's great about Jess. He has them. He's not shy to tell Rory what the deal is and that definitely the kick in the ass she needs. Another thing helping her decision...her grandmother. If whoever I was living with was all up in my grill like that, the bitch in me would have come out a lot sooner. Here's the recap from last week...let's see if Rory grows some balls herself.

Reunion

Finally, the viewers have seen some light! We now know that Sam is the murdered character and Jenna seems to know a lot and may have loose lips. 1990 was a great episode though. Carla is starting out in an abusive relationship just as Aaron realizes how much he loves her and comes back from Prague to get her. Will is shipped off to Kuwait, Craig goes to make up with him before he ships out (since they hadn't talked in a year since Will almost ruined Sam and Craig's wedding) and we see more into Sam and Craig's relationship and where it probably all starts to turn. Craig has exhausted all their funds trying to keep his Dad's business afloat, Sam is pregnant (again), but this time with the correct father, and in the present day, you see Craig and Carla freaking out over the investigation. Since Sam is the mother of the little girl that Carla is babysitting, whose father she is dating, and Craig is Sam's wife, something shady is definitely going on there. I'm really liking this show. Great drama and great story line. But what happens when they get to present day? I know I've asked this question before, but will the show just end? Maybe it'll continue on with the drama of the remaining friends? Somehow I just don't think it would be as good though. We'll see! If you missed this last episode, here is the recap. Next week the murder weapon is found...that always proves to complicate things!

Nah nah...Goodbye!

So last night's episode of LOST was another good one. Everyone's favorite bratty snob, Shannon, was shot in the tummy. Although, I must say, I was just starting to like her for the first 15 min. of the show. Or was it only because I was jealous of her being with Sayid? Who knows! But it quickly changed when she totally freaked out on him for no reason. Come on woman! JUST because he didn't see what you did? Lame. But way to keep up the woman drama even though you're on a deserted island with no one else that likes you. I guess freaking out can get someone to pledge their love to you though, worked for her!

Speaking of someone that people don't like (or at least I don't), Ana Lucia. She gets on my last nerve! How come she can talk so much smack and not get beat down by everyone? I was really hoping Michael was going to sock her one last night. I think we're going to find out that she's a lot weaker than this attitude she gives off. I still wouldn't get into a ring with her...but I'll mentally kick her ass all over the place. The fact that we're going to see a lot more of her in next week's episode is already pissing me off.

What's up with all that wispering??? I'll definitely be searching some forums to see what it was saying. Someone will decipher it, I just know it. And is Walt really alive? Is it a ghost? And I'll tell you what...if some ghost vision thing was telling me to "Shhh" in the jungle, I may run after it, but certainly wouldn't be yelling at him! If you do that, you're likely to get shot in the tummy! That's what I learned at least. So it's another week of waiting patiently for more answers only to be followed with questions. We might not even know what happens to Sawyer for a couple weeks so we can learn about the other 48 people on board the plane! Ahhh! This show has way too much anticipation! But if you missed it last night, here's the recap.

Double Your Pleasure

Well...I've been on a bit of a hiatus recently since I've started a new job and have had no time to sit and blog. But have I had time to TiVo??? Of course silly! Finding time is so easy with TiVo since I can skip through commercials. Have I been able to watch as much as I did when I had time off, no. But it's certainly been nice to be able to come home after a day of swelling my brain with all this knew knowledge, and quickly slow it down with my favorite shows. And TiVo is always a good friend for the weekends!

Now in reference to my title...I'm talking about my sister and brother-in-law here. Jill calls me this morning to yell in pure joy, "We got our second TiVo!" Of course I understand this pure excitement because I, myself, am fortunate enough to own two TiVos. At first she thought they were being ridiculous, but realized in order to feel better, she'd call me to make her feel normal again. Although, most would agree that I'm not the best person to turn to in order to feed a TiVo habit. This should help you feel better Jill, you now have one 80 hr. and one 40 hr., I have you beat with two 80 hr. boxes. So take it from me, you're still on the normal end of the spectrum. So the moral of the story is, the more TiVos you have to more normal you are! If someone doesn't have a TiVo by now, I really have to wonder about that person. Welcome to the wonderful world of double "bloop-boops"!
